The Simplicity and Effectiveness for MCOR
Director of Neuroenergetic Kinesiology Institute Austria, teacher of kinesiology, psychologist
Julissa Byington
Menopause and the Link Between Alzheimer’s and Cognitive Decline
Julissa Byington has made significant strides in advancing the field of kinesiology in the United States. With nine years of dedicated practice and international study, she identified a crucial need for better organization and recognition of the field in her home country. To address this gap, she assembled a team to develop a recognized and accredited industry for kinesiology.
Partnering with Empowerlife Kinesiology, Julissa and her team undertook extensive efforts to establish the Brain Integration Institute. Their successful lobbying of Congress led to brain integration being formally recognized as an industry. The process of creating this certification involved navigating the requirements set forth by the Department of Public Licensure, granting the Brain Integration Institute the authority to certify brain integration practitioners.
Julissa now serves as the co-director of the Brain Integration Institute alongside Ronald Wayman, where they continue to promote and advance the practice of kinesiology.
Julissa Byington’s journey in health began with a passion that initially steered her away from traditional medicine. Instead, she found her path in alternative medicine, where kinesiology emerged as her true calling. This technique not only aligned with her interests but also proved transformative for her and her family, inspiring her to launch her own practice.
In her practice, Julissa is dedicated to enhancing every aspect of her clients’ health, with a special focus on working with children who have a range of disabilities. She approaches her work with enthusiasm, viewing it as a dynamic puzzle where she integrates various techniques to provide optimal support.
Starting with Crossinology, Julissa expanded her expertise over time to include a diverse array of techniques such as LEAP, NK institute, Empowerlife Kinesiology, Masgutova reflexes (MMRI), and Kinergetics. This broad skill set allows her to address her clients’ needs from multiple angles. Recently, she has been particularly drawn to NK (Neuroenergetic Kinesiology) for its comprehensive approach, which she seamlessly incorporates into her existing practices, further enriching the care she provides.
Outside of her professional life, Julissa Byington is deeply passionate about learning and spending quality time with the children in her life. Being a mom brings her immense joy, and she embraces her youthful spirit by going on adventures with kids. Her love for nurturing extends beyond her practice; she enjoys feeding, healing, and connecting with people in all aspects of her life.
Julissa is also dedicated to personal growth and exploration. She enjoys gardening, cultivating herbs and is now delving into tinctures and homeopathy. Her enthusiasm for brain integration and kinesiology remains a driving force, and as a lifelong learner, she continuously seeks to expand her knowledge and expertise in these fields.

Carie Morelock
Self Efficacy, and the core of motivation
Carie Morelock is a social scientist, focusing her research efforts on applied science in cognitive psychology, motivation, learning, and self-regulation. She received her master’s degree in Social Science from the University of Colorado at Denver and is the founder of Blue Illumination: Live.Thrive.Illuminate, a cognitive and emotional holistic coaching organization.
She developed an interactive, skill-building workshop curriculum to teach empowering tools regarding the cognitive motivational process of self-efficacy and self-regulation. These tools help individuals increase resiliency and adaptability, while helping decrease anxiety and stress.
Back in 2012, Carie authored a rudimentary handbook, The Car of Life, that was published showcasing one lesson from her 8 week workshop. This book was written and aimed to appeal to ages as young as 10 in order to help people understand the 5 components of the self.
For the past 15 years, she has taught these workshops and seminars because of her passion to help empower individuals and families with the knowledge and tools to live a more resilient, effective, and joyful life.
Her latest research includes much regarding the neurodivergent learner, mental and neurological disorders, and the behavioral trauma of emotional abuse and how these all affect motivation and the decision to act.
She is an advocate of unschooling and self-directed learning, being adventurous and spending time in nature everyday. She loves living in the South – so she can talk about God to anyone- traveling, running, being in the water, and spending time with her hubby, kids, and grand baby!

Zen Master Bon Jacques-Pierre
Stress Less, Live More: Integrative Mindfulness Practices for Emotional Well-Being
Zen Master Bon Jacques-Pierre comes from the practice and lineage of the Ngagpa tradition of Tibetan spiritual legacies. They are known to be wild, unpredictable, full of laughter, compassion and love. From his early years, he was diagnosed with a mental illness. For many years he would struggle, even trying to take his life several times. Fortunately, his curiosity of “Why we exist…” guided him down a life-long journey of wonder and self-discovery. He has served in the Navy and National Guard, protected people as a police officer, built non-profits in many states to help those in struggle, and now mentors others to find their authentic purpose and embrace their passion. He has traveled all over the world uncovering the beauty of authentic human kindness.
All his years has brought the wisdom to know we are always a student. He has learned knowing when to teach, when to mentor, when to listen and when to just be. Before Buddhism he was on a path to become a Baptist minister and was enrolled in a bible college to fulfill this. In his studies, he found he wanted to discover more from within and to have “no walls”. This guided him to his mentor and teacher Namyen. He studied under him for 12 years as he discovered his path to inner peace. He would become ordained as a Zen Buddhist Monk in 2012 and began teaching others to discover the beauty that is already there. His belief is once you remove the obstacles, you uncover the beauty within.
These days you can find him teaching at retreats around the world, drawing mandalas on the beach or skating down the boardwalk with his longboard, in robes of course.
“Live everyday not as if it were your last, but for what it can be, a journey into the unknown. Potentially connecting you to your humanity and happiness. There is nothing better than genuine human kindness. Be that person.” – Zen Master Bon Jacques-Pierre

Dr. Kory Branham
Introduction to Wholistic Methylation
Dr. Kory Branham grew up in a home built on natural foods and natural living. As a young adult, he entered chiropractic school on whim after learning that National College also taught nutrition and basic acupuncture. In 1976, while attending BYU and doing his undergraduate studies, he attended an AK demonstration being done by two chiropractors, and it really impressed him. Afterwards, he joined the AK club at National College of Chiropractic.
He wanted to develop his skills further after he graduated, so he spent a year working for a doctor in Texas. He continued trying to learn AK, but got frustrated trying to teach himself. Then, he had the opportunity to attend the first seminar on Clinical Kinesiology. This seminar was taught by Dr. John Bandy who was trained in the advanced techniques of Clinical Kinesiology from its originator, Dr. Alan Beardall. Dr. Bandy and Beardall were among the first students of Dr. George Goodheart, who originated and developed the techniques of Applied Kinesiology, or muscle testing applied to body structure and integration, since 1964.
After Dr. Branham was in Texas for a year, he was invited to interview for a position with Dr. Goodheart in his clinic in Detroit, Michigan. Dr. Branham’s best friend from college, Dr. Robert Radtke, had already been working with Dr. Goodheart. When a vacancy opened up in the clinic, Dr. Goodheart asked Dr. Radtke for a recommendation to fill it. Dr. Branham was the obvious choice, as he and Dr. Radtke had graduated together at the top of their Chiropractic school class. An invitation to interview was soon extended, and Dr. Branham was thrilled at the opportunity.
